Come be part of Gilead's first Good Friday service *at a new location*.
With poetry, lament, and music (Nirvana, Wailin' Jennys, chant) we'll tell the story of Jesus' last week, and listen to his "seven last words" — the phrases he spoke from the cross, taken from all the different gospel versions — with an ear toward what they say to us, here and now.
We'll be in the Teal Room — which you can actually enter from Glenwood — but it's the back room of Pub 626 and that's the 1406 W Morse address. (This isn't a permanent move; just for Friday night.) As always, kids are welcome and so is anyone else you want to bring with you.
